Culinary Arts

Teachers: Mrs. Ashe, Mr. Kantrowwitz

The Culinary Arts course offers training in cooking, pastry preparation, restaurant management, and dining room services. The department operates a full service restaurant which is open to the public. In addition to the basics of culinary arts, students are trained in all aspects of the industry including sanitation and safe handling of food. Click here to watch a video about the restaurant.

Inevitably, the course name speaks for itself. Culinary isn't just a technical path, it's an art in which students make meals to look as beautiful to look at as good as it it is to eat. Culinary offers its services for students and faculty during the periods of lunch hours to buy some of their tasty treats and meals.
